We added project locking and secure read-only sharing in a way that is simple for everyone. You can protect sensitive docs, share with people outside your account, and still keep strict access control.
Project Locking
Best for private notes, client docs, and internal playbooks.
Lock a project with a password
Turn on password protection from the project menu. Only people with the password can open it.
Get a private unlock session
After entering the correct password, access is granted for a limited time so you can work smoothly.
Session expires automatically
When the timer ends, the project locks again. Re-entering the password is required for security.
Read-only Link Sharing
Perfect when you want people to read docs but not edit them.
Generate a read-only share link
Create a secure share link from the project card. You can regenerate it anytime.
Anyone can view - even without login
Recipients can open the shared project and read documents in view-only mode from any device.
Password rules still apply
If the project is locked, shared viewers must enter the project password and re-verify after expiry.
No login required for viewers
Shared links work for external users too.
Time-based secure access
Sessions expire automatically to reduce risk.
Regenerate links anytime
Old link sessions are invalidated when regenerated.

I built MyFriendlyDoc because I kept losing my own documentation. I'd write something important, paste it into 3 apps, and still not find it a week later. No platform did exactly what I wanted - so I built one.
Wizzard came next because good documentation isn't just about storage - it's about clarity. I wanted an AI that understood the context of what I was writing, not just the words.
Right now it's a prototype. It occasionally gets creative in ways I didn't ask for. But I'm improving it every week - better prompts, smarter context, and one day, hopefully, fewer fever dreams as output. ✨
The 5-use daily limit isn't me being stingy. It's me keeping the lights on while I figure out a sustainable model. Every Wizzard run costs real money, and this is a solo project running on personal budget + vibes.
